[lug] Video and Linux

Visit www.mpeg4ip.net for an open source s/w which can
capture & display video in mpeg4 format. It has  been
tested with Logitech QuickCam Express (see README).

I use Dlink DU-C300 camera. Never tried any expensive
camcorders, but i remember having read mpeg4ip
supporting camcorders having IEEE 1394 (firewire)
interface.

As far as editing goes, mpeg4 standard allows us to
modify individual objects in the picture.
