[lug] network issue/redhat linux 8.0

Please post the following:

boot time dmesg. Boot the system, and then type 

dmesg > dmesg.txt


verbose LSPCI

lspci -vv

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

/etc/conf.modules

Well, did that and it comes back and says that it's not configured.
And yet if I do an ifconfig and eth0, it recognizes with irq, base addr,
mac addr, etc. I've checked the doc's and nothing stirkes me yet.
