[lug] DVD playback MPlayer

Hello, 
  I have been using MPlayer for a while with no issues.
While trying to rip Spiderman I noticed that trying to 
preview the dvd using dvd::rip (wich calls MPlayer) that there
is no sound. So i tried just watching the dvd with mplayer directly,
still no sound. Its a region one dvd and my dvd-player is set to use
region one. I set the audio out to oss wich is the default anyway,
and works with other dvds. Any ideas?
