Yep. I use Linux as my desktop. I think it's great. Controlling servers
and source code (and you name it) from the command line is fast and
efficient.

I can't comment on Konqueror. I mainly use Galeon for development, but
have a windows machine with IE and a Mac with Chimera (and have been
meaning to try out Safari) for testing.
