[lug] Mandrake 9.1 problems

I just did a fresh install of Mandrake 9.1 (kept my /home directory,
otherwise a new install) and I've got a couple or problems. One is that
the list of installed programs under the "start" menu for KDE or  Gnome is
gone. You have to do run program, xterm and then type your application. I
had mandrake 9.0 and they had all the programs categorized, etc. Am I
missing something, did something not get installed. I can't believe this
is intentional.

Also, when I run galeon, it crashes on startup. This is true for a newly
created user or as myself with a .galeon directory. Mozilla won't start,
either. The install claimed to have no problems... but this behavior
doesn't seem normal -- anyone have similar problems or suggestions?
