Sounds like at least two problems, hardware and sofware.
o (HARDWARE) First check the video card. Is it seated?
o (HARDWARE) Put in another video card to see if this is the 
problem.
o (HARDWARE) If the video card is not the problem,
then you know it could be the power supply, memory,
or motherboard.
o (SOFTWARE) Kernel was not compiled with the Modules.
