Having the same problem.. Did you resolve this issue?

Any help would be great..

Thanks in advance...

--Frank

I have a client that is using PGP 7.0 and I am using GnuPG 1.0.6 on Debian
Potato. We were able to exchange keys, verify fingerprints, add the
other's key to our keyring and sign it with our private key. Now he sends
me an encrypted file for testing. When I try to decrypt it (gpg --decrypt
file) it tells me:

gpg: encrypted with 2048-bit ELG-E key, ID A50D48D1, created 2001-10-31
"Test (Key for testing only) <kmoore at hotmail.com>"
gpg: decryption failed: bad key

Anyone know what this could be? I didn't find any info searching on the
web.
