Not neccessarily. The SCO claims won't be more credible only 
because they are now MS claims. So far, noone has a clue about
the soundness of the accusations -- and, one thing that should
not be forgotten: copyright protects (more or less) verbatim
_code_ copying (highly unlikely). Duplication or takeover of
algorythms is not protected/patentable in many contries (including
the one i happen to live). Now, for how many of the kernel developers
would it be illegal to duplicate core AT&T kernel functionallity
(esp. given the fact that most of it was published in _print_ early
on). Maybe it might become expensive to buy Linux in the states
but on a global scale i doubt this has serious impact (and i doubt
any nation can allow oneself the luxury of not using such fine technology).
