I am recently moved to Colorado from California. Part of moving was
switching to a local ISP. But I kept my ISP in California so that I
could pick up straggling email from friends who didn't update their
address books when I told them.

Here in Colorado, I have set up procmail to sort mail acording to the
domain to which it was sent. For several weeks, I have seen only spam
in the California mailbox, but I wondered whether a copy of my old
address was lurking in an address book there.  Today I got a whole
bunch of SoBig.f stuff in my mailbox for Colorado ISP and no Sobig.f
stuff in my mailbox for California ISP. Now I know that all my friends
in CA have changed their address books, and I can close that
account. Or, at least, that none of them are likely to have my old
address in an address book.
