[lug] highlighting word-by-word differences?

Well, this is probably overkill, but I made a comment on bug 68537 as
referenced, and wrote a new one against diffutils:
 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=104107

thinking that a whole new package would seem to just complicate things.
