[lug] Just in case anyone doubts Microsoft is totally clueless...

I know I'm preaching to the choir here... but this is the type of
observation that's good to pass on to our less technical friends
as hard proof that Microsoft remains inexplicably clueless about
anything outside of its own litter box....

MS has owned Hotmail for how many years now? Isn't it something
like 5 years?....

I just tried to check my hotmail account. Over 500 messages.
Most seem to be spam.

And

I

am

expected

to

click

on

each

one

of

those

5

0

0

messages

individually

to

delete

them.

There's no "delete all," and the FAQ and similar links just
brought up a blank page except for "loading...". Think about this
- they KNOW there's a huge problem with spam but they still want
people to click on each message individually to delete the crap.
That's either extreme arrogance or extreme cluelessness, and in
either case it's the type of deliberate omission that makes you
wonder about the company doing it.
