Just for the "quick" answer... is RenTelco still in biz? They used to
be nation-wide... and they had darn near anything. Weren't super cheap,
but saved my butt in the field numerous times with DS1 and DS3 test gear
when all of ours were already at another customer site or were broken.

(Ugggh... Sage DS1 test set. Always reseating cards when they fell out
inside. Great test set though for it's day.)

TDR is a pretty generic term. There are specific TDR's for different
types of cable (RF, Cat-5/6, etc.). They may quiz you a bit on what
you're trying to test, or they may just make you give them a specific
make/model of what test gear you're looking for. I can't remember how
they did it.
