Bryan- try setting up a panel shortcut to 'redhat-config-network'.  This 
GUI should allow you to re-configure your wireless (and other network) 
settings easily.  I -think- it will serve as a front-end to 
iwconfig/ifup/ifdown, but I'm not positive.  Let us know if this 
solution is adequate.
