My first thoughts are LTSP and rdesktop.  Use LTSP to boot off a server, then 
use rdesktop to connect to Windows Terminal Server.

ltsp has undergone a recent revision and it is now very easy to install on 
several distributions.  Check it out at http://ltsp.org
