Well, I threw one of the messages against Mom's Clamav filter, and it
says 
"VIRUS!"  The same is probably true of the other messages.

FWIW, one message came from a computer at ibm.com, while the others were

apparently from residential broadband users (ionsky.com and Verizon
DSL0.
