Not before mine - hell, the first system I programmed I toggled in on
the switches on the front panel.

Then we upgraded and I only had to load the bootloader that way, read
the rest of the program in on paper tape.

Was working while going to school, did some homework on breaks at work
because we had a real IBM360 to use, not the school's simulator. Got a
call from the comp center one day after a week or so asking if I
wanted the punched cards I was producing. I didn't even know the
return jobs were producing them. They kindly gave me the JCL to stick
in to fix that little problem.

Sorry Nate, I guess some of use *are* the old farts you only imagine
yourself to be :) :) :)
