[lug] ssh-agent under KDE and KNOPPIX

I should clarify that KNOPPIX puts you right in an X11 session. I
save some configuration on either the system's hard drive or a
thumbdrive (home directory with ssh key; settings, etc) so
everything else goes pretty smoothly - knoppix is great (a popular
"boot linux from cd" distribution).

Here is a `ps fax`

  548 ? Ss 0:00 /bin/bash /etc/init.d/xsession start
  557 ? S 0:00 \_ /bin/bash /etc/init.d/xsession start
  659 ? R 4:41 | \_ XFree86 -noreset -xf86config /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 -dpi 75 :0
  676 ? S 0:00 \_ /bin/sh /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
  854 ? S 0:00 \_ kwrapper ksmserver
  810 ? Ss 0:00 kdeinit: Running...
  908 ? S 0:13 \_ kdeinit: konsole -session [xyzzy]

so it looks like I need to get the right environment eventually to
kdeinit somehow.
