[lug] HYPER-THREADING CPU

We're buying Dell (Intel) machines with hyper-threading turned on.

Anyone know of any hyper-threading issues with Java?

I've run into "race conditions" before that cause subtle, hard to trace problems.

I can find comments like "some software is not configured to be optimized for hyper-threading".  

Thoughts?
