[lug] evolution signature script

Hello,
 I tryed making a signature script for evolution using perl. Evolution
will not use the perl script , when i try , the new mail i create does
not get a signature. However if i use bash script it works just fine. 

>From googling a bit I see that some other guy claims to have used a perl
script.. so i think it can be done. Has anyone on the list had any luck
using a perl script to make their evo signature.
