1) Port Forwarding

Does anyone have Daniel's email address? I want to get that script, so I can automate backups from remote locations (non-addressable or behind Firewalls) to a central Backup Server.

2) Anybody know anything about Unison? I want to install it on a RedHat Enterprise machine. Being from GNU (Debian) - I generally trust them when they say: "works on various... including Linux..."
I have a user who can't even handle remembering to plug his automated Backup drive into his Laptop when he puts it on his desk. So I want to use the Windows to Linux Sync features.
Any feedback on Unison?

3) Any thoughts on Job Management Software?
I want to set up servers to do automated Backup and Status-type tasks.
ie - Do Backups, filter some logs and post advisories, test that Apache isn't frozen, connect with home base and send the backups, etc.
I can start writing scripts, but in the past, I lived in large environments with such systems.
As things get more complicated and have more dependencies, it's nice to have a package in place.
Any thoughts?

4) I have a number of Servers up. Regularly, Apache freezes. I can look at processes, I don't see anything wierd, but it does respond to a Browser.
Any idea how a Server can actually see if Apache is reponding to connects?
