ATM under Linux is a WORLD OF PAIN. I work with the Northern Colorado
Internet Cooperative, and we run Linux routers. When we added an ATM DS-3
last year, we decided to try it out on Linux. This was for bandwidth and
also as circuits for the ISP side of providing DSL lines. We finally gave
up and got a Cisco box we dedicated to terminating the ATM, then connected
it via ethernet to the Linux core router.
