[lug] Backup system ideas

I just calculated it out. 

8 400 GB hard drives ~ $2200

1 3ware Serial ATA 150 controller ~ $380

4U case with 8 drive bays to hold everything ~ $200 (guesstimation)

Quantum LTO library and 16 LTO tapes.....

I didn't search, but it's at least 6 grand for just the library. 

Oh yeah, the disks are way faster.
