Well, I know I'm late, but there is one program I haven't seen
mentioned:  viewfax.  It is an old X11 program that does multipage TIFF
faxes quite well.  Slightly less user-friendly than display, mind you.
Mouse buttons zoom in and out (left and right), and the rest is by
keyboard.

If you want it for Fedora, it's in core, I think, under mgetty-viewfax.
I'm pretty sure evolution doesn't register it as a TIFF viewer since it
is so old, though.
