If it's cable, the Motorola does bridging...I use that now to avoid 
wasting an IP on the cable modem. I'm using the Surfboard 4200, which is 
a bit outdated. It's been a very nice and flexible/reliable cable modem, 
and if I were to go DSL instead, I'd be tempted to check up on Motorola 
products. This is also on Comcast (was AT&T), and from what I've heard 
the hardware that is acceptable varies widely with supplier of the 
cable/DSL, so maybe even if Motorola makes a product for DSL that does 
all you want, it's possible that Qwest would not work with it.
