[lug] (OT) Compiling QT

A friend of mine is trying to compile some QT programs. The
default make files created by Kdevelop dynamically link to
the QT libraries. He wants to use static links so that the
libraries don't need to be loaded into the target machine to
run the programs. Can anyone explain how to do this?
