[lug] Cellular broadband cards under Linux?

I have a small system PC-104 that I'm trying to install (any) linux to. It has 2 serial, 1 parallel and an IDE connector. I have a MicroSolutions backpack CDROM Pport drive connected to it and I'm booting with the slackware 9.1 pportide.i boot disk.

It doesn't look like it's being detected at the prompt. I was curious if anyone on this list has any experience using a similar configuration, at least the pport IDE cdrom setup. I'm not sure what the mount point would even be to try to mount once the root disks have installed.

Just curious, thank you!
