I recently tried some Seagate 300GB drives and out of 4 I had one fail in
the first month...  Not overly impressed with those 300GB SATA drives.
However, before that I had a SATA test system I put together a few years
ago and the Seagate drives were the only native SATA drives available then.
I had 10 drives in that system and it ran for 2 years without problems.
So, I'm kind of mixed in my feelings about Seagate...  The 3 other drives
are working fine, and they handled the RMA just fine.

The 5 year warranty is nice, but I'd prefer that it meant that the drives
were higher quality rather than that they were lower quality so that they
could afford to RMA them more often.  I have no idea which is the reality,
but one failure out of the 4 drives I recently purchased makes me worry.
