Heh, well... I appear to have caused much of my own problem.

I was fiddling with MySql tuning and WAY overdid it (by like a factor of 
ten or more) with the buffer sizes and generally anything that utilizes 
RAM.  LOL.  See what I get for playing with my machines in the middle of 
the night at home?

Anyway... the poor box running the main munin was sitting at a load 
average of about 15 all night... the munin graphs actually show it very 
nicely.  Ha!

I bet it'll work better now that the box is sitting at 0.62 load 
average, eh?  ;-)

Will watch and see.  Should also be fun to see the memory utilization 
and CPU load graphs drop dramatically in a hour or two (well, that's 
when you'll really be able to see it clearly -- after it draws another 
hour or two of data on the charts).

What a "marooooon" I am....
