Dear All,

I Just ran the suse Linux tool yast and performed software updates.
Everything appeared to update fine with no issue. I was prompted to
reboot because of the kernel update. When I rebooted
I now get this error and a total lockup:

modprobe: FATAL: Error inserting hw_random
(/lib/modules/2.6.5-7.252-smp/kernel/drivers/char/hw_random.ko): no such
device

This happens during initialization of eth0 (DHCP).
Prior to that I get:
Warning No interface active (yet?) eth0 Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)

Does any one have a suggestion to alleviate this? It seems like Linux is
not seeing the ethernet card.

Thanks you any help.

best,

Paul Nowosielski
