[lug] Stand along backup for dual (Fedora Core 4/Windows 2003) boot Machines?

I was so hopeful that mondo rescue was going to solve my problems. But then
I download the latest iso and burn it to a CD only to discover this in the
readme:

This CD works well with:-
- Red Hat 7.x, 8.0, 9
- Mandrake Linux 8.x, 9.x
- SME/e-Smith 5.6
- SuSE Linux 8.2
- Trustix 2.0
- TurboLinux Server 6.5
- TurboLinux Workstation 7.0

Where is Fedora Core 4? Is not SuSE 8 kinda old? Uggghh...

Is there a program I can use to protect against a hacker using fdisk on my
boot drive where I can create a DVD backup that will contain a complete
image of all my boot partitions such that I don't have to rebuild my boot
partitions? In the old days of mainframes, we called it stand alone backup.

I cannot get mondo rescue to install -- maybe because fedora core 4 is not
supported. It complains about liblzo.so.1 not being installed but when I try
to download the RPM it says lzo1.0.8 is already installed.

Thanks,
Siegfried
