[lug] If you want a Laptop that Runs Linux..

I reccomend the Acer Travelmate 4674.  First laptop I ever got all the 
hardware working on (wireless still not perfect though).

Specs:

Intel Core Duo 2.0GHz
2GB RAM
80GB 5400RPM hard drive
Broadcomm 10/100/1000 (tg3 driver worked)
Intel 3945 wireless (pain in the ass, but the atrpms rpms fotr the 
driver worked on FC5)
56K modem that worked with the Alsa modem drivers and slmodemd
ATI X1400 with 128 Meg of video memory (all I had to do was install the 
Livna RPM and then change the driver in xorg.conf to fglrx and it worked 
fine).

The only issue I had was that if you disconnect from the wireless access 
point and connect to a wired network and then try to go back, I had to 
kill ipw3945d and restart it.  If I didn't kill it, NetworkManager would 
fail to connect.

I also don't know if bluetooth works.  The bluetooth part of my phone 
seems dead, since it didn't see the phone in Windows either.

Oh yeah, suspend to disk and suspend to ram worked perfect.  FC5 rules 
on laptops. :)

Next to be tested is an Acer Travelmate 4070
