I've used both XFCE and IceWM. XFCE is more polished, but IceWM
provides all I really need - multiple desktops. The critical (IMO)
missing feature from IceWM is RUN. I used bbrun to fill in the void.
Shades of the past: a few of our developers at work still run FVWM2!!!
