[lug] Distribution favorites?

While I really like Gentoo, I like checking out the other distributions
because of the software I discover that I didn't know about.

With Gentoo you get what you ask for but you don't end up with
surprising additional software in your desktop menus.  With Fedora Core
6 I already discovered some neat stuff that I'd never thought of adding
to my Gentoo.
