[lug] Read-only filesystem

Old machine: Kubuntu 5.10
New machine: Kubuntu 6.10 AMD64

I recently put together a new computer and moved a couple drives from my
old machine to the new one. When copying data to one of the disks I
will eventually get an error that says in part "cannot create regular
file" "read-only file system." Some data are copied to the disk before
the error, though not the same amount each time. If I umount/mount the
disk some (or sometimes all) the copied data are not there. The other
disk works fine. Both worked fine in the old machine. Here are the
relevant parts from fstab:

/dev/sdb1 /data1 reiserfs defaults 0 2
/dev/sdc1 /data2 reiserfs defaults 0 2

sdc1 is the disk in question. I copied the above from my old fstab
file, though the disks were sdc1 and sdd1 respectively in the old machine.
