[lug] Windows & Linux sysadmin?

We have several clients in town who need hands on support with mostly
Windows problems, and the rare problem with a Linux server. There are
actual three different offices. We have moved their mail to gmail,
and we host their domains.

They pay us $150/hour to help them with anything from computer moves
to samba bugs. We spend about 10 hours a month on average and
sometimes up to 20 or 30 hours. You have to be available to respond
to emails/calls within hours, and to start fixing the problem within a
business day. No after hours work is required. All the offices are
located close to downtown Boulder.

If you are interested, reply to me personally. I'm extremely busy
right now, and I'm going to reject people pretty quickly who don't fit
my idea of who is the right person for the job. I'll always respond
so be patient. We value our reputation at bivio highly. The main
reasons we are giving up these gigs is that we can no longer deliver
the service quality we believe our customers deserve.

The only interview question is: Send me a code sample which you are
proud of. Any language (even .bat :-), any length, any domain. If
you don't know how to code, I won't be recommending you to take over
these clients.

I'm not interested in resumes or "skill sets". You needn't be
particularly expert at Windows. You should be familiar enough with
Linux to manage a single samba server (only one of the clients runs
linux).

If you consider this spam, sorry, it is, but then, I got the first
lawyer gig on this list many moons ago, and I was grateful. I'm
hoping somebody out there will appreciate the favor, too. We're not
advertising anywhere else.

Cheers,
Rob
