I do this with ssmtp, which replaces sendmail.  All my hosts behind my
firewall at home send logwatch email using ssmtp through my imap account
on my remote server.

It's hard to find the source for this - I don't remember where I got it.
But I googled around and found a bunch of mirrors that may hold it:

Considering I can't seem to find it anywhere else, I think I'll stick it
on my site too.
