Any suggestions for a USB webcam with rock-solid drivers?

As an example of what I mean, something like the wifi drivers for the old
Orinoco cards, or support for postscript printers.  I want something that just
works, no kernel fiddling, etc.  I'm using Debian stable, although anything
that meets my criteria wouldn't care what distro I'm using because it would
work on anything released in the last 3 years.  I don't really care what it
costs.  Does such a thing exist?
