SPF is *absolutely* the correct solution for this situation.  If people are
forging your domain to send spam, cut them off at the knees using SPF.
There is a nice wizard to help you create SPF records at the openspf.org
site.  Though you should probably understand the implications of using an
SPF record before you do so.

Read the Wikipedia entry on SPF to better understand what you have to list
in your SPF record and how you may have to change your habits to be SPF
compatible.
