I got tired of dealing with RedHat because they changed their package
manager and system configuration on every release from 5-9. It sucked.
You would learn how to do something and then it would change.

I've used SuSE for several years now, and been very happy. I like the
two year support cycle and I actually like YaST.

Most of his rant is written out of frustration and ignorance. I've done
Unix, Windows, and Novell for 20 years now, and hands down I prefer
doing admin work on Linux.

Scripting in Linux is 10 times easier than it ever thought of being in
Windows. I've read the articles on the power shell. It's ridiculously
complicated.

OTOH, there are some points that he doesn't make. Most man pages suck.
Tell me that a mortal could use the man page for "find" and understand
how -exec works. It's just not possible.
