Many Bell Labs fans were happy, and I was proud, back in the late 1990's
when Lucent started basing its PBXs on Linux. But the new pointy-haired
bosses-of-bosses in IT decided to embrace the anti-standards of our
competitor Microsoft and break many internal web sites so workers
couldn't even use Mozilla, making it harder to even internally use the
free software that our researchers had inspired with the original Unix
operating system decades before.

This sums up my response to the new IT management - thanks to martin
kester for the description and image....
