Quick followup:

I've not heard back from the company yet, but here is a blurb on their
build requirements for their Linux distribution:

- --Linux Building Notes

The supported APDFL/DLI compiler for the Linux platform is RedHat
Linux 7.2 for 32-bit Intel/AMD x86 architecture, Pentium Pro and
better, using gcc 3.2 (gcc C++ ABI 1); or RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 4
for 32-bit Intel/AMD x86 architecture, Pentium Pro and better, using
gcc 4.1 and higher (gcc C++ ABI 2).

Due to changes in the APDFL v8.1 UNIX releases, the shared library
libstdc++.so.5 is now a requirement when building APDFL applications.

So, it looks like I should be able to build on our work machines, and
perhaps by ubuntu one, but I'll need to grab the old version of libstc++.

Although it may not build on my ubuntu box as it's 64 bit. I'm really
a bit unclear on that part, but I'll give it a try, see what happens.

Thanks to all for your responses.

Ken
