I didn't ask during the meeting.  He had plenty of other things to  
talk about.  People were numerous, the meeting went on for ever and  
ever, and as far as I recall only one person got up and left.   
Apparently Linux users are extremely interested in these topic.

If there ever is a Transitive Grace Period Public Licence FAQ, this  
will be the first question.  The answer is, you are right.  Maybe you  
could draft Answer #1 for the FAQ.  ;-)

Ah yes!  A few people have told me that it is immoral for a licence  
to grant less than an infinite duration of proprietary rights to  
derived works.  Many have told me that it is immoral for a licence to  
grant more than an infinitesimal duration of proprietary rights.  I  
figure this means I must be doing something right.  ;-)
