[lug] Anyone else hate to get rid of old equipment?

I think you need to get away from the computer for a while.

My pet peeve is people who just trash TVs and monitors.  Those things have
an immense amount of lead in the glass (and solder, of course).  I'll tell
people about this when I see something listed on freecycle (or whatever it's
called now) but a lot of people can't be bothered.  Especially when they
learn it costs $10 to drop it off, plus a $3 car fee unless you strap it to
the back of your bike.
