[lug] Anyone else hate to get rid of old equipment?

I reply because this is also a pet peeve of mine (even though I now work
from home full time).  At my last company, it boiled down to the VP of
Operations was a control freak and prick of the highest order who
thought that anyone he couldn't see wasn't working even though we all
did project and deadline based work.
