[lug] Linux compatible GPS?

My TomTom is a One130. It loses its ability to locate the satellites after

Have you ever mentioned this to the manufacturer?

About 2 weeks ago when I was searching for a rugged Linux Laptop, almost
every manufacturer I contacted stated that very few people had ever
mentioned that they wanted to run Linux on their products before.
