[lug] Managing work queue for scientific processing

Orion:

Thanks for the suggestion.  There seem to be several competing
versions and web sites. Can you suggest a viable open-source
version and the appropriate starting point on the web?
 (Oracle, Univa, Open Grid Scheduler, ...?)

By the way, I'm just across the street from you, in NCAR
Foothills Lab Building 0, in the Atmospheric Chemistry Division,
working on data from the HIRDLS and MOPITT instruments.  I know
Joan Alexander at CoRA from her work on HIRDLS.

I would like to visit over lunch sometime soon.
