Not exactly what you are looking for, but I did this:

And I prefer FF separation between URL and search boxes (as opposed to
C omnibox)

Actually I prefer FF so much in this respect that I close C and open
FF when I need to do View Source (and especially View Selection
Source!)

I used to, but the latest changes they are doing are alienating me from it.
