[lug] insane Gigabyte issue

It's BIOS only.  It does have a EFI CD/DVD Boot Option that is there for 
installing an OS on a drive that is bigger than 2.2TB.  I plan to have 
multiple 3TB drives in this system once setup but the OS drive is only 
500GB.  I'll try turning that from */auto/* to */off/* and see what happens.

I've checked the stand offs as Zan suggested and all is good there.  
I've also replaced all SATA cables with brand new ones that cane 
straight out of a sealed bag.

The problem still persists.
