[lug] Questionable Cisco Router Updates

Hello,

The below link talks about Cisco rolling out firmware updates to Linksys
devices, which allows Cisco to monitor all traffic, as well as brick the
routers if they deem the traffic violates their use policy:

It's an infoworld article in case the link breaks in transmission (I am
sending this from my Android device).

This e-mail is intended to create awareness among the group since I suspect
there are a few Linksys users out there who may not want to update their
firmware at this time :-)
