[lug] Follow up: Best OS for big Oracle data warehouse?

I forgot to add a point - This data warehouse will be getting a major 24/7 feed from a MS Sequel Server database.

SUSE and Microsoft have some sort of agreement.  Does this up SUSE's "score" as the choice?

I just talked to someone who is bringing up a new large-scale Oracle ERP/CRM data warehouse.
They've decided on VM on Suse.  I haven't used SUSE for a long time.
Is this a good choice?
